Cod Charters:
Cod fishing trips generally run to Stellwagon Bank
and other offshore waters. Although you can fish for Cod
throughout the season, the best time to catch large
numbers of Cod is in early spring; March, April, or May
and in the fall. However summer time produces larger
sized cod and a lot more variety of fish such as
Haddock, Pollock, Cusk, Wolfish, Mackrell, Hake,
Halibut, and Monkfish.
All Cod/Haddock charters are full day trips running
approximately 10 hours. Provided in the charter fee is
all bait and quality PENN tackle. Under existing
regulations, we are allowed to keep 10 Cod fish 24" and
up per person including captain and mate, for a total of
80 cod. Haddock have a size limit of 19" and are
unlimited. We fish for cod and haddock by bouncing clams
and jigs off the bottom in depths ranging from 80 ft. to
300 ft. All 6 passengers will be fishing at the same
time giving everyone the equal opportunity to fill their
freezer and catch that cod of a lifetime.
Mixed Charters
You may
also request our mixed charters with the option of 2 of
the following: 1/2 day Cod, 1/2 day Shark, 1/2 day Tuna,
1/2 day Stripper.
